We've written some basic instructions on how to approach using this recourse here.
For Windows:
- Right-click the zipped file you want to unzip and select "Extract All" from the context menu.
Choose a destination for the unzipped files and click "Extract."
Wait for the extraction process to finish. Depending on the size of the file and the speed of your computer, this may take a few seconds or a few minutes.
Access the unzipped files in the destination you selected.
Note: Windows 10 includes built-in support for unzipping files, so you don't need to download any additional software. However, if you prefer to use third-party software, we recommend 7-Zip, which you can download for free from this link: https://www.7-zip.org/.
For OSX:
Double-click the zipped file you want to unzip. This will open it in the default unarchiving application, called Archive Utility.
Choose a destination for the unzipped files and click "Extract."
Wait for the extraction process to finish. Depending on the size of the file and the speed of your computer, this may take a few seconds or a few minutes.
Access the unzipped files in the destination you selected.
Note: OSX includes built-in support for unzipping files, so you don't need to download any additional software. However, if you prefer to use a different application, we recommend The Unarchiver, which you can download for free from this link: https://theunarchiver.com/.
